This morning RedBedlam announced that Bedlam the game’s main protagonist is a female gamer, meet Heather Quinn aka Athena

Imagine our surprise this morning when we opened up our favourite Monday morning read, the FT.
Lo and behold the world’s favourite orange newspaper covered RedBedlam at this years London Book Fair!
RedBedlam were invited to this years show because we’re adapting the novel Bedlam by Christopher Brookmyre into (to use the FT’s terminology) a mad cap, kick ass FPS game.
We’re pleased to announce RedBedlam will be exhibiting in this year’s gaming section of The London Book Fair – you’ll find us on Stand R705C. Please do come and say hello and check out the latest news for Bedlam the game based on the novel Bedlam by Christopher Brookmyre.
We’ll also be at the Digital Minds Conference on Monday April 7th, RedBedlam’s Marketing Director Nick Witcher will chair a discussion on “Games and Publishing” during the afternoon session.

Just before we all broke off for the Xmas holidays, RedBedlam’s Marketing Director Nick Witcher was interviewed by South East Business News. The news’s Editor Neill Barston stopped by RedBedlam’s studio at The Sussex Innovation Centre on the University of Sussex campus.
The interview covers RedBedlam’s latest project Bedlam the game and looks back at RedBedlam’s history and how we’ve built up the business over the last decade.

To celebrate the paperback launch of Bedlam on January 21st we’ve teamed up with the lovely people at Alienware who’ve provided an X51 desktop PC as the main prize for our competition – a great piece of gaming hardware for all you hardcore gamers out there!
We also have 6 x A2 posters of Bedlam the game concept art that have been signed by Christopher Brookmyre, the competition winner will receive the Alienware X51 plus a signed A2 poster and a copy of one of Christopher’s earlier novels Pandaemonium the five runners-up will each receive a signed A2 poster plus a copy of Pandaemonium!
All you have to do to enter the competition is share the first chapter of the Bedlam novel. You can share as many times as you like and each share you do counts as an entry into the prize draw, so the more you share the more chances you have of winning a prize!
